Born and raised in Draper, Utah, Emily has been involved with the arts her whole life. One of her paintings can be seen in the gallery at Draper Elementary. Additionally, she has represented her high school, Jordan High School as the sterling scholar in Visual Arts. She went on to obtain a BFA in Illustration at Brigham Young University (BYU). From there she began work with Disney at Avalanche Studios in Salt Lake City making video games for 10 years. At the same time, she also honed her performing arts skills by writing and publishing music, starring in films, acting in commercials and creating entertainment for audiences of all sizes. While at BYU, Emily performed on the Young Ambassadors tour group.
